The Vita Slim (PCH-2000) trimmed weight and thickness, improved battery life, switched to standard micro-USB charging, and added 1GB of onboard storage. The trade-off was a move from the original's gorgeous OLED to a perfectly good LCD. Proprietary memory cards remain a sore point, but with its dual sticks and lively homebrew scene the Slim is a practical, comfortable way to own a Vita.
