Our verdict
The Legion Go S trades the original's detachable controllers for a simpler, more comfortable fixed design with excellent Hall effect sticks and triggers, an 8-inch 120Hz screen, and — notably — an official SteamOS edition alongside the Windows model. The AMD Ryzen Z2 Go is a step below the Z1 Extreme, so it is more of a mainstream than a flagship performer, but it is one of the most comfortable big-screen handhelds available.
